SAIC awarded $38M contract by Hawaii Public Utilities Commission to support energy efficiency

Pursuant to the legislative action allowing the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission (PUC) to move the electric utilities’ energy efficiency services to an independent third party administrator, the PUC awarded a competitively bid contract to SAIC on March 3, 2009 to take over the electric utility energy efficiency programs from HECO, MECO and HELCO on July 1, 2009.
